The doorman on his phone instead of opening the door, workers leaning on the counter gossiping with the barista, the bar and restaurant closing up 15 minutes before their  stated closing time. Stayed in plenty of NYC hotels and yes, many are small, but this was ridiculous. Crappy lobby. The room itself is also not very comfortable. We chose this hotel as it was half a mile from Times Square, but I wouldn't recommend staying at this hotel for more than a night. Harassed me even when there was 8 people left in the room which I was told the capacity is 50! I don't like when hotels use the term "boutique hotel" to try to justify lack of amenities.
